What we run

Three ways we haul cold

-20°F to +80°F

Refrigerated Transport

FTL and LTL reefer freight, held at setpoint from pickup to delivery.

  • Full range of setpoints. Deep frozen at -20°F, fresh at 34°F, protect-from-freeze in winter, verified by live monitoring.
  • FTL and LTL. Truckloads, partials, and multi-pick or multi-drop routes, temperature held at every stop.
  • Common commodities. Frozen foods, ice cream, produce, dairy, meat and poultry, beverages, alcohol, and refrigerated waste.
Live temperature monitoring, 24/7

Temperature-Critical Freight

Cold chain transportation for loads that cannot fail: tight windows, dock temperature checks, freight rejected if it warms.

  • Live temperature monitoring. Setpoint and return air reported to dispatch; drift triggers alarms and action.
  • 24/7 dispatch oversight. A human watches every critical load through the night. You hear from us first.
  • Proof for your records. Reefer download data on request, plus a time-stamped trail of every checkpoint, arrival through delivery.
Repowers · Drops · Specialty

Specialized Solutions

For freight that does not fit the standard playbook.

  • Repowers and recovery. Short-notice saves when another carrier’s truck breaks down. Ask our brokers about the blizzard runs.
  • Trailer drops. Trailers at your dock so crews load on your schedule, not the driver’s clock.
  • Specialty commodities. Temperature-controlled medical products, hazmat, and commodities with exacting setpoints, like critical minerals and rare earths.

FAQ

Common questions

Refrigerated transport

What temperature ranges can you run?

Any setpoint from -20°F to +80°F: deep frozen, fresh, and protect-from-freeze, with live monitoring so the temperature on the rate confirmation is the temperature in the box.

Do you handle both FTL and LTL refrigerated freight?

Yes. Full truckload, LTL partials, and multi-pick or multi-drop routes, with temperature held from the first pickup to the last delivery.

Which states do you run?

We run 26 states across the Midwest, South, and Southeast: Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas, Iowa, Nebraska, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota, Kentucky, Tennessee, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia. View the full coverage map on our contact page.

Which states do you not serve?

We do not currently run the West Coast, Mountain West, or Northeast: Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Alaska, and Hawaii. Both lists sit under the coverage map on our contact page.

What commodities do you haul?

Frozen foods, ice cream, fresh produce, dairy, meat and poultry, beverages, alcohol, refrigerated waste products, and other temperature-sensitive goods. If it needs a reefer, we almost certainly haul it; fresh seafood is the one exception.

Is there anything you do not haul?

Fresh seafood is the one refrigerated commodity we stay out of. We currently do not run Landoll, Flatbed, or Heavy Haul. We are reefer experts. Our fleet is equipped and designed for temperature-controlled freight, and that focus buys you more reefer experience than a general-purpose carrier can offer.

Temperature-critical freight

What makes a load "temperature-critical"?

Freight where a temperature deviation means the load is rejected or destroyed: high-value frozen product, meat and poultry, temperature-controlled medical products, hazmat, and anything a receiver will temperature-check at the dock. These loads need more than a reefer; they need monitoring and accountability.

How is the temperature actually verified?

Our telematics-equipped reefers report setpoint and return air live to dispatch, 24/7, and temperature-critical loads ride on that equipment. If a unit drifts, alarms fire and dispatch acts before the load is at risk, not after the receiver finds out.

What happens if something goes wrong in transit?

You hear from us first. If anything threatens the delivery window or the temperature, you get a proactive update with the plan, not a surprise at the dock. Our dispatch monitors loads around the clock.

Tracking & updates

How do I track my load and get updates?

Every truck is GPS-equipped and every load is trackable live on our tracking page. You also get our Live Dispatch update emails automatically, with real-time checkpoints as the truck arrives, loads, rolls, and delivers.

What do the Live Dispatch update emails look like?
Live Dispatch

Hello,
Forevercold Logistics

Your shipment is dispatched. We are en route to Midwest Cold Storage (Pickup).

White glove means you never have to ask. These land in your inbox automatically as the truck is dispatched, arrives, loads, rolls, and delivers, and the same load is trackable on our live tracking page the whole way.

Working with PBJ

How many trucks and trailers do you run?

20 trucks and 30 trailers, all reefer. We also partner with several trusted brokers to help fill additional capacity where needed, so a surge or a multi-truck project does not stall your freight.

How much cargo insurance do you carry?

$250,000 in cargo coverage on every load, well above the industry-standard $100,000. Certificates of insurance are available on request during carrier setup.

Who do you work with?

Brokers, shippers, 3PLs, food producers and processors, cold storage and distribution centers, and other carriers who need a load repowered or recovered. Whether you are covering a customer’s load, shipping your own product, or saving one that is already in trouble, you get the same dispatch team, the same visibility, and the same accountability.

Do you repower loads?

Yes. We repower and recover shipments on short notice, including overnight runs, when another carrier’s truck breaks down or a load is at risk. Reach out and we will let you know right away if we can cover it.

Are you a budget carrier?

No. We are a white glove carrier: monitored equipment, proactive communication, automated real-time updates, and a team that answers the phone. If the cheapest truck on the board is the goal, we are probably not the fit. If the load actually matters, we are.

How do I get a quote?

Send us the lane, dates, and temperature through our quote form and a real person responds within one business day, usually much faster during business hours.
